This cup and saucer, made in England circa 1770, is hand-painted in the Two Quail pattern of Dr. Wall First Period Worcester. The cup and saucer both feature striking turquoise rococo borders. The shape of both the cup and the saucer are fluted and lobed at the border. The fluting adds visual interest as light plays across the curved surfaces.
