A stylish vintage British studio pottery jug by renowned potter Jane Hamlyn and made at Millfield Pottery near Doncaster. The large jug has a barrel shaped body with moulded ribbed handle and large raised bird beak pouring spout. The is decorated in mottled brown and blue salt glazes with a slightly textured finish and with flatter areas of metallic coloured green glazes. With an impressed JH seal mark below the handle.
