    An exceptional, fine and impressive antique Victorian English sterling silver Adams style tea caddy; an addition to our silver teaware collection. This exceptional antique Victorian sterling silver tea caddy has a plain oval shaped form onto a plain oval spreading pedestal foot to a collet rim, in the classic English Adam style. The surface of this fine silver tea caddy box is plain and unembellished, with an applied reed decorated border to the upper portion. This antique sterling silver tea caddy retains the original hallmarked domed hinged cover surmounted with the original sterling silver topped, carved pineapple-style finial. Condition This antique silver tea caddy is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition. The piece has been professionally polished and is in presentation condition. Full hallmarks struck to the surface of the caddy and part hallmarks to the interior of the cover are all very clear. Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this impressive Victorian sterling silver tea caddy.
