Silver and Crystal Master Salt Cellar

About

"Master" salt cellar in the shape of a sterling silver and crystal swan, circa 1930s-1940s . The head and movable wings are composed of sterling silver and decoratively pierced with repousse finished scroll work and roses on the feathers. The wings are movable to enclose and reveal the salt cellar. The piece is marked sterling on the base of the swan's neck. Please note of wear consistent with age including scratches on the bottom from shelf wear.
