About the Item

From Spode, England, a Fleur De Lys-Red Coffee Pot in the fluted Chelsea shape. The Fleur de Lys pattern was introduced in 1961 and remained active until 1994, now discontinued. A bone china coffee pot and lid, transfer printed in a bittersweet red with hand painted gold accents. A floral shaped top knob on the lid. The Fleur De Lys was originally a symbol of French royalty. It is used here as a rich border ending in an overall geometric pattern. The gold accenting adds to the luxurious feel of this pattern. Sizes: 8.5 in. from handle to spout x 4.5 in W x 8.5 in. H Marked: Spode, Fine Bone China England. Pattern No. Y7481-I with the pattern name. Excellent condition.
