A very fine 75-piece Georg Jensen sterling silver flatware set. Designed by Henning Koppel. In the Caravel pattern. Set comprises: 12 Dinner Forks (7 3/8") 12 Salad Forks (6 1/2") 12 Tea Spoons (5 15/16") 12 Place Spoons (6 7/8") 12 Dinner Knives (8 5/8") 6 Demitasse Spoons (4 1/4") 3 Serving Spoons (8 5/8") 2 Butter Knives (6 1/4") 1 Serving Fork (9 1/4") 1 Pastry Server (7 7/8") 1 Sauce Ladle (7 1/4") 1 Cold Meat Fork (8 1/4") An award-winning cutlery pattern, this design won the prestigious 'Der golden Löffel' juried prize in 1963. Simply a fantastic complete set of flatware from Jensen! Date: Mid-20th Century Overall Condition: It is in overall good, as-pictured, used estate condition with some fine & light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age. Condition Details: 3 blades have some minor rust and pitting to the steel blades or some very light edge wear here & there. Otherwise, there are some fine & light surface scratches throughout and other signs of light wear consistent with age.
