John Lias Georgian English Sterling Silver Old English Pattern Gravy Spoon

About the Item

A fine and impressive antique Georgian English sterling silver Old English pattern gravy spoon; an addition to our silver flatware collection. This fine antique George III sterling silver spoon has been crafted in the Old English pattern. The surface of the antique silver spoon handle terminal is embellished with the contemporary bright cut engraved initials 'WMAW'. The reverse of the spoon features a rounded heel to the bowl and a pip to the handle terminal. Condition: This antique silver spoon is a very good gauge of silver, fine quality and in excellent presentation condition. The bowl has a sharp point, indicating the spoon has had little use. Full hallmarks struck to the reverse of the handle are very clear.
