An exceptional, fine and impressive, large antique George V English cast sterling silver table bell; an addition to our range of ornamental silverware
This exceptional, fine and impressive antique George V cast sterling silver table bell has an octagonal bell shaped form in the desirable classic English George I style.
The body of this large English silver table bell is encircled with an applied girdle.
This silver ornament is fitted with a panelled, knopped baluster shaped sterling silver handle, surmounted with a spherical finial.
This impressive antique table bell is fitted with the original hallmarked, compressed clapper.
This exceptional table bell is a large and impressive example for its type.
Condition
This antique large English silver table bell is a superior gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition.
The table bell has been professionally polished and is in presentation condition.
There are some surface blemishes in keeping with age; this does not attract from the aesthetically pleasing appearance.
Full hallmarks struck to the surface of this sterling silver table bell and part hallmarks to the clapper are all very clear; the hallmarks are struck deeply due to the exceptional gauge of silver.
