Pair of Neoclassical Style Sterling Silver Corinthian Column Candlesticks
About the Item
Neoclassical Style, Victorian Period, sterling silver Corinthian column candlesticks, Birmingham, England, year-hallmarked for 1889, Richard Martin and Ebenezer Hall (doing business as Martin and Hall) - makers. Capital of each candlestick's column is designed with swags and flowers. The base of each candlestick is beaded in design. This beading motif is continued on the removable bobeches. Each candlestick measures 6 1/8 inches high x 3 1/2 inches wide (at widest point) x 3 1/2 inches deep (at deepest point). Each candlestick is weighted. Dark areas in photos are reflections. In very good antique condition.
