About the Item

Set of Eight Sterling Silver Blossom Spoons by Georg Jensen, Denmark Designed in 1905 by Georg Jensen, the Blossom cutlery pattern is delicate and genteel - representative of Jensen's intense and personal interpretation of the Art Nouveau style. The Blossom pattern is the result of Jensen's quest to unite art and craft through the organic forms of nature. The flower's stem winds itself upwards around the handle emerging as a flower bud on the verge of bursting open and illustrates Jensen's deep inspiration from nature. Material: Sterling Silver, total weight 226 grams Measurements: L: 6 inches Hallmarked on each '84' etc. These examples also called 'Large Youth Teaspoon or Large Child's Spoon' We have a set of eight Blossom pattern salad forks in a separate listing.
