An exceptional, fine and impressive antique George V English sterling silver Art Deco flatware service for twelve persons; an addition to our antique flatware sets.
The pieces of this exceptional antique George V straight* sterling silver cutlery set for twelve persons have been crafted in a desirable Art Deco design.
The surface of each tapering handle is embellished with a thread decorated border accented with zig-zag and Greek key designs, all in the geometric Art Deco style.
The original table and dessert knives bear the original composite handles.

The components of this canteen, including the original knives, were crafted by the renowned silversmiths Elkington & Co Ltd in 1934.
The original knives bear the maker's mark 'Elkington & Co, Stainless, Cutlers & Silversmiths' to the stainless steel blades.
This Art Deco style cutlery is supplied in felt cutlery rolls; which not only protect the items in storage but significantly reduce tarnishing.
* "Straight" means all the pieces are made by the same maker in the same year.

The pieces of this exceptional vintage sterling silver flatware set for twelve persons have been crafted in a Gerald Benney design.
The surface of each Fiddle-shaped handle is ornamented with two vertical rows of stylised spiral decoration, emanating from a plain band to the stem.
The reverse surface of each spoon and fork is plain and unembellished.
