About the Item

A fine and impressive antique George V English sterling silver baby feeder christening set made by Harrods Ltd of London - boxed; an addition to our christening silverware collection. This fine antique George V sterling silver christening baby feeder set consists of a napkin ring, feeding spoon and food pusher. The spoon has a plain oval form, the pusher has a shaped rounded rectangular form and the napkin ring has a plain cylindrical form. The bowl of the spoon and surface of the pusher are plain and unembellished. The spoon and pusher are fitted with broad loop style handles ornamented with bright cut engraved undulating and zig zag borders. The napkin ring is encircled with further bright cut engraved undulating border amidst bands of zig zag decoration. The pieces of antique christening set are fitted to the original hinged leatherette box with satin and velvet lined interior and push fit catch. The interior of the box bears the retailer’s mark ‘Harrod’s London, S.W’.
