A fine English sterling silver ladle fully hallmarked for London date stamped for 1817 and made by Paul Storr (1771-1844) one of the two most famous English silversmith of his time. The ladle weighs 274 grams and is in the Fiddle and Shell pattern. Storr was a prolific gold and silversmith and achieved great fame for the quantity and quality of his production.
