Antique Early Meiji Japanese Cloisonne Enamel Footed Porcelain Bowl Totai An antique Japanese Meiji era footed enamel over porcelain bowl. The exterior of the bowl is enameled with polychrome floral, foliage and swirl motifs made in the Cloisonne technique. The interior of the bowl is adorned with a hand painted scene of a bird in a blossoming garden, adorned with gilding and surrounded by floral, foliage, and geometrical ornaments. The bottom of the bowl is decorated with a hand painted abstract motif.
