Rare Japanese Footed Enamel and Porcelain Bowl

About the Item

A rare antique Japanese footed enamel over porcelain bowl. The exterior of the bowl is enameled with polychrome floral, foliage and swirl motifs made in the Cloisonne technique. The interior of the bowl is adorned with a hand painted image of blossoming flowers, and adorned with gilding. Marked with a six blue ink character mark, probably Wanli, on the bottom. Circa: late 17th century to early 18th century. Antique and Vintage Asian and Oriental Enamel Bowls, Table and Desk Wares, Home Decor, and Collectibles. Dimensions: H 3 1/4 in. D 6 7/8 in.
