About the Item

Charming sugar bonbonniere box made of solid silver, gold plated inside, Diana head hallmark Austria Hungary. This particular shape, typical of Vienna and Budapest, is particularly decorative. This sugar box is rectangular, has straight folds, and is covered in sculpturally embossed decoration. It has no feet but stands on a base, which is embossed, as is the sculpted, also bossed decoration, with a handle in the form of a raised, sculptural knob. The condition is outstanding, also the interior gilding is completely intact. Measurements approx.: height 4,13 in - 10,5 cm, width 4,84 in - 12,3 cm, depth 4,13 in - 10,5 cm This elaborate design and the valuable materials, are particularly beautiful and makes a wonderful addition to your breakfast table, tea table, or display cabinet.
