About the Item

Set of 2 Petrus Regout Maastricht cups and saucers. Now known as The Royal Sphinx factory, Petrus Regout was established in 1834 as a glass making company and two years into their production the company started making porcelain pottery only for the local community located in Maastricht, Holland. The company was later renamed in 1897 by the future generation of the family to "Petrus Regout & Co".
