Italian oval tureen with tray in solid 800 silver baroque style
About the Item
Gorgeous oval tureen with tray in solid 800 silver produced in Italy in the late 1960s.
The body of the tureen is oval, shaped and embossed.
An oval base has been soldered under the body with embossed scrolls typical of the Baroque style.
On the body of the tureen, 2 acanthus leaf scrolls and two mythological seahorses made with the casting technique have been applied.
The lid of the tureen is embossed with waves and scrolls while the
knob is cast and reproduces the applications of the body.
The tray below perfectly reproduces the workmanship of the tureen. On it, 4 acanthus leaf scrolls have been applied.
