About the Item
Large round sterling silver Queen Anne style tureen.
The plate is round with a welded cord border.
Two handles with an acanthus leaf design made using the fusion technique have been welded to two opposing parts. The handles were subsequently finished with precious chiselling.
The tureen has been embossed and chiseled with a pod motif on the body and on the imposing base. On the highest part the chiselling is a straight design of different sections.
Other similar chisels are present on the lid where a large cast handle was placed and subsequently chiselled.
Two large handles have been applied to the sides of the body of the tureen, to ensure that it can be transported even without the plate.
This object is very elegant and suitable for an important dining room, enhancing and embellishing the space where it will be placed.

The lower portion of the body is encompassed with impressive chased fluted decoration in a subtle swirl design.
