Rörstrand, Glunt, Soup Turin & Soup Plates & Ladle, 1960s

About the Item

Product Description: The four soup plates, the laddle and the soup tureen on offer here are manufactured by the Swedish firm Rörstrand, the designer of the form / pattern was Christina Campbell. Christina Campbell is probably most famous for her AMANDA-series at Rörstrand. The series name is "Glunt", it is a rare series not mentioned in books that presents a good summary of the design of Rörstrand. The boldly hand-painted blue lines and the contrast of orange create an exquisite atmosphere. The blue-orange combination is present in the Augusta-series by Christina Campbell as well. Product Condition: The soup plate has signs of wear like knife scratches, and the ladle has a hairline under the glaze (visible on the picture). The turin has no signs of use and almost no threads, there is however a paint splash present on the edge of the lid (visible on the picture). Overall, it is in good condition without any parts that have lost their luster due to threads. Turin: height: 150mm width (without ears): 175mm width (with ears): 255mm Ladle: diameter (of the spoon): 90mm total length: 270mm Soup Plate: height: 40mm diameter: 205mm Weight(total): 3337g.
