Large Antique Mahogany Casque Form Cellarette
About the Item
A fine English Tin lined Cellarette in chosen mahogany in a rarely seen Casque type form. The body of the piece tapering with a decorative prismatic lid. While the cabinet includes the original key, it does not work properly to lock the piece.
Dimensions: Width 30", Depth top 18" Height 18 1/2"
Condition: Please see detail photos. There are various signs of age including old wear marks, stable age split at the top, missing section of interior tin lining, scratches and nicks which have been ameliorated by a later French polish with the Cellarette retaining a refined and distinguished presentation.
