French Revolution, end of the 18th century, rare handwritten circular from the Minister of Justice Cambacérès on the subject of the prohibition of English goods, dated 19 Brumaire of Year VIII of the Republic, After the coup d'etat of Bonaparte Revolutionary period, 19 Brumaire of Year VIII of the Republic (November 10, 1799) Rare handwritten circular in four sheets from the Minister of Justice Jean-Jacques-Régis de Cambacérès reminding the Criminal and Correctional Courts of the execution of the law of 10 Brumaire of Year V of the Republic prohibiting the import and sale of English goods In the upper left margin: Handwritten note "Litigation to be registered" Office "Criminal" We are invited to recall in the margin of the answer, the name of the Office and the number above Header with allegory of the Republic, the latter represented seated and wearing a Phrygian cap, inscribing with her right hand the table of LAWS, in front of her a bundle of lictor, a rooster represented behind her.
