A finely detailed hand carved and gilt wooden Bellamy style eagle wall plaque with painted American flag shield decoration by contemporary Cape Cod artist Paul White. White is from East Sandwich, Massachusetts and is among the most respected and talented carvers, and has received national recognition in both the carving and sign-making worlds, and has taught hundreds of students over the years. This carved plaque is incised “PW” on verso, dates to the 20th century, and is in fine condition, with minor gilt touch ups and other minimal imperfections. Dimensions: Approximately 10 in H x 46 in W x 4 in D.
