Mid-Century American Large Scale Wood Carved C-133A Plane

About the Item

Mid-century large-scale wood carved Folk Art Cargomaster C-133A. An actual barn find discovered in Washington State farm country. Hand-carved and painted. Two pieces: wing piece attaches and bolts to fuselage. Hand-painted markings read "Douglass C-133A," "US AIR FORCE," "USAF," "ATLANTIC," "57800." The length of the plane measures 101.25". The wingspan is 113". The fuselage has a diameter of 11". The height of the vertical stabilizer is 28".
