About the Item

A most charming and one-of-a-kind antique North Carolina bait shop trade sign with beautifully weathered patina! A wonderful example of American folk art, early 20th century, primitive hand-crafted construction, sculptural wooden form depicting large flounder fish, with distinctive fins and polychrome painted decoration. Wall hanging, easily secured using the two eye-screws, or the screws can be removed and the sign placed on a mantel. Dimensions: (approx) 31.5" High, 48.5" Wide, 2.5" Deep Sure to add elegant rustic warmth, antique character, charm, and rich historical interest to any space, especially traditional coastal, Hamptons chic, New England cottage, beach house modern, lake house, and rustic lodge, to name just a few!
