A scarce vintage Breitling watch three-dimensional retail store advertising display stand window sign. Rare large free-standing example, only given to select dealers, featuring a tall rectangular solid wood frame, raised chrome Breitling letters, over a yellow jet plane in sculptural relief form, on a most distinctive artistically distressed background; the reverse finished with a flueele fabric and adorned with the Breitling 1884 logo; rising on metal feet. Dimensions: (approx) 29.5" High, 24.5" Wide, 5.5" Deep Condition Report: Great original unrestored vintage condition. Presents well. Some condition issues/retaining vintage character marks and charm, including scattered nicks, mainly to the front top right frame, minor scuffs to the letters, scratches, slight bend to left foot pad, all typical wear consistent with age and indicative of industrial use. A charming antique American kitchen range warming oven wood stove converted into a unique table with lots of storage! Born around the turn of the late 19th / early 20th century, repurposed and fashioned it a one-of-a-kind table (or kitchen island) in the second half of the 20th century, having a divided top fitted with a later pair of glass panels over decorative cast iron burner hot plates, flanking an enameled hard work surface center, over patinated metal frame case fitted with two large cabinet doors featuring etched glass windows, well aged crackle paint and white porcelain pulls, opening to reveal a large and spacious single storage compartment in updated wood finished interior. An antique American railroad yard switch sign on custom stand. A wonderful example of both Americana and industrial folk art! Born in the US in the early 20th century, the large, double sided, painted red iron circular disc shaped "target" sign; mounted to painted black cast iron central pedestal standard; surmounted by hand hammered and chiseled raw iron three inch tall finial; rising from a later five spoke pentagonal black iron base, elaborately shaped, fan form with niche curved flowing lines. The central standard can unscrew from the base for easy transportation and storage. Versatile, use it indoors as a decorative accent and quick way to add color, rustic texture, dimension, and interest, or use outdoors to brighten up your space as a garden ornament or statue.
