1930's - 1940's Kamba Stool with Beaded Top

About the Item

The flat seat of this early twentieth-century Kamba stool from Kenya has been beautifully decorated with embedded red, green, blue and white glass beads. Carved from a single piece of wood, the surface of the wood exhibits a lovely honey-coloured patina. This medium to large-sized stool exhibits good proportions, and would be perfect for interiors as a side table or stool. ‍ Estimated Period: First Half of 20th Century
