Exceptional antique alabaster ceiling fixture for an entry hall, bedroom or any other room.
A beautiful and authentic early 20th century alabaster pendant light in the neoclassical taste, with elegant carved detailing and wonderful natural veining. The bowl is hand-carved from a single block of alabaster, featuring a refined Greek key frieze around the middle, a delicately beaded rim, and fluted shell carving to the lower section that ends in a charming flower motif at the base.
The alabaster has a warm creamy tone with soft grey and amber veining that comes alive when illuminated, creating a gentle and atmospheric light. It hangs from three brass chains with the ceiling canopy and fittings, combining classical symmetry with timeless elegance.
A perfect piece for interior designers seeking authentic texture and understated luxury, these alabaster pendants bring softness and warmth to both traditional and contemporary spaces. Ideal for entryways, dining rooms, or bedrooms, or any other room that can do with a quality and atmosphere upgrade. Where their diffused glow adds depth and calm.
In good antique condition with light age-related marks and natural veins typical of alabaster. The brass fittings show a mellow, attractive patina. Fitted with three bulb holders.
Mind you, this pendant is rewired to the highest standard for safe and immediate usage in the USA as well and our US clients will be able to use three regular American screwthread bulb of up to 100 watts each, easily. This light will also take LED bulbs.
Thanks to the metal hook inside the height adjustable brass canopy, safely mounting this perfect pendant tight to your ceiling (and over your junction box) will take no more than a few minutes either and thanks to the chains we (or you) can also change the height to one that is perfect for you.
