Brass Pendant Light by Hans Agne Jakobsson, Sweden
About the Item
A mid-century brass pendant light in the shape of a top hat by Hans-Agne Jakobsson for his company in Markaryd, Sweden. An unusual and rarely seen piece of Nordic design. Labelled inside.
The brass shade and original brass ceiling canopy are in good vintage condition with only minor signs of wear. The shade is in two parts creating a slim opening, with all four original connecting screws and spacers in place; white inside. The wiring is original - we recommend it is renewed in the country of install to ensure it meets local needs and regulations. The single lamp-holder takes an E27 screw-fitting bulb; we always advise low-heat options to protect the fixture for the future.
