About the Item
Green silk fringe light with glass liner by Hans-Agne Jakobsson, made by his company in Markaryd, Sweden. Two lights available, price is per piece.
The fixtures can be hung near the ceiling (using the loop visible in image 4) or as a pendant by using suitable fixings on the wire; one piece is shown here for illustration hanging on a brass chain (not included). The combination of glass and fringes creates a nice diffused light. Good vintage condition with minor signs of age-related wear. Labelled to the inside.
Wiring:
The original wiring has been replaced in the past; as with all lighting the wiring will require testing/rewiring prior to install to make sure it meets local needs and regulations. The single lamp-holder takes an E27 bulb; we recommend using a low-heat model to protect these fixtures for the future.
