French 19th Century Louis XVI St. Bronze, Ormolu and Frosted Glass Chandelier

About the Item

A beautiful and unique French 19th century Louis XVI st. patinated bronze, ormolu, and frosted glass chandelier. The six arm chandelier is centered by a fine bottom acorn finial below lovely fish scale designs leading up to three most decorative lightly curved supports. Three pairs of arms with stunning frosted glass floral candle covers branch out from charming finely detailed patinated bronze cherubs seemingly holding up the arms. The pierced central support above displays a hammered design and fine patinated bronze rosettes.
