Thanks to its truly awesome design, its practical size and excellent condition this antique alabaster chandelier, we feel, will attract many enthousiasts. We have never seen an alabaster pendant with such an appealing design shade and for this antique gem to be almost as good as new and with such a perfectly polished surface, more than made our day. And it does not end there, because this all hand carved antique light also comes with the most beautiful mix of black veins several delightful, more translucent veins and patches. So this not only is one of the most wonderfully designed albaster pendants we have ever had the pleasure of offering, it also has a wonderful spread of black veins. That combined with the whiter veins and patches that have formed in this mineral stone over a period of thousands of years makes it even more special. It has taken a highly skilled craftsman a lot of time and dedication to perfectly hand-create this remarkable design and for it to still be in this amazing condition after more than 100 years is like an ode to his craftsmanship. We could shoot many more photos, but you still would not be able to see the true beauty of this shade. In real life (or in person) our antiques always have that little bit more and this stunning, modest size pendant is no exception. You can take our word for it. This pendant has been rewired to the highest standard for safe and immediate usage in the USA as well and it will easily take a 100 watt bulb (in our photos we used a small 60 watt bulb). Both with the light on and off its timeless beauty will never go unnoticed. The stylish blackened chain and the equally stylish and mint, blackened brass canopy (which is height adjustable) perfectly complement the entirely black and white design of this striking light fixture. Thanks to the hook inside the height adjustable canopy, safely mounting this superb pendant tight to your ceiling and over your junction box too is very easy. And thanks to the chains we (or you) can also easily change the height if you would wish to do so.
