About the Item

Top class, Art Deco chandelier with a unique alabaster dish shade with matching dish canopy. Thanks to its large size and good condition this alabaster 3-light chandelier will light up both your days and evenings. It is all hand-crafted and they used the perfect alabaster rock for it. This not only is one of the largest antique alabaster pendants we have ever had the pleasure of offering, it also has an almost perfect division of black veins. That combined with the whiter veins and patches that have formed in this mineral stone over a period of thousands of years makes it even more special. And what takes this stunning chandelier to a level of its own, are the timeless and serene design, dish shade and canopy. It must have taken a highly skilled craftsman a great many hours and focus to perfectly hand-create this remarkable design. For it to still be in this amazing condition after more than 100 years is like an ode to his craftsmanship. We could shoot many more photos, but you still would not be able to see the true beauty of this shade. In real life (or in person) our antiques always have that little bit extra and this stunning pendant is no exception. You can take our word for it. The large size also makes this chandelier suitable for a dining area or for a large entry hall or for your master bedroom. Both with the three lights on and off its timeless beauty will never go unnoticed. Apart from one minor restauration to the marvelous alabaster 'dish' this antique light could not be in better condition. The stylish metal chain is of a later date and the perfect condition and perfectly matching with original white alabaster canopy is like the icing on the cake of this timeless chandelier. Mind you, this work of beauty is rewired to the highest standard for safe and immediate usage in the USA as well and it easily takes a bulb of up to 100 watts and thanks to the chains we (or you) can also change the height to one that is perfect for you. This Art Deco fixture also is perfectly balanced and thanks to the metal hook inside the canopy mounting this rare light can be done in a matter of minutes.
