Extremly rare pendant light model A 1983 designed by Paavo Tynell in the 40's and produced by TAITO OY in the same time. The lamp has its original painting on shade, with a rounded leather circle on the bottom of it. The counter weight system is made in solid brass. The lamp is stamp by the editor TAITO. The diffuser is in glass. Paavo Tynell is considered of one of the leading finnish designer of the mid century movement alongside with Alvar Aalto or Axel Einar Hjorth in scandinavian. His work has always been taken on example by the most talented designer in finland but also in Sweden like Hans Agne Jakobsson or Josef Frank. An iconic designer.
