About the Item
Large and nice Paavo Tynell Fixture model 1083 design in the 40's and produced during the 50's by TAITO in Finland. The light is composed by a Opal glass, a brass core and a rattan shade. The shade has been restored. Nice overhall condition. The lamp is stamp by the Editor TAITO. The opal glass has a nice gold color when the light is off. Paavo Tynell is one of the most influencial designer in scandinavia along side Josef Frank, Axel Einar Hjorth or Hans Agne Jakobsson.
