Set of 3 Mid-Century Polished Brass Pendant Chandeliers by Hans-Agne Jakobsson
About the Item
This well scaled Set of Three Mid-Century Modernist Polished Brass Pendant Chandeliers by Hans Agen Jacobsson originates from Sweden, Circa 1960. They feature polished brass downward facing shades with a white enameled interior surface and subtle pierced detailing throughout, letting the light shine through adding dynamic detail to these minimal pendants. They are suspended by a black silk-wrapped cord and attaches to the ceiling with a flat rounded canopy also in polished brass. A charming and highly versatile set, these pendants will style well in a wide array of spaces and settings from Mid-Century Modernist to Contemporary and Minimal Interiors. Newly rewired to American Standards, these lights accommodates one candelabra based bulb each achieving up to 60 watts of light each. In Excellent Vintage Condition.

Hans-Agne Jakobsson
Hans-Agne Jakobsson was a Swedish interior and furniture designer, who ran his own company from 1951. Jakobsson was especially famous for his lighting designs, which often had a softly glowing light and organic shape. His designs were inspired by great, modern Scandinavian designers such as the Finnish icon Alvar Aalto and Danish lighting master Poul Henningsen.
