Large waterfall chandelier by J.T. Kalmar with a diameter of 27", Austria, 1960.
Very modern chandelier with classical crystal elements with a Swarovski sparkle. It has got a large diameter of almost 27" and has been fully refurbished and newly rewired and is therefore in very good vintage condition consisting of nickeled brass and crystal cut glass. It reminds a bit of a design from Aloys Gangkofner.
The waterfall theme has been elaborated in different ways such as a subtle play of order and disorder to the brass stems and crystal chains that lead to alterations in the heights of both stems and crystal balls so that the dripping of water could be interpreted in the design but also from below the crystals almost appear like a water surface. Very beautiful sparkling effects are coming on top of it once lit. It takes 9x e14 bulbs with 40W max or Led's and is dimmable.
Dimensions are: 26.9" (diameter) x 17.7" (height chandelier only)/ 44" (total height)
