During her time at university, Hannah opted to take part in an industrial placement year where she interned in Eindhoven, Netherlands for designer Nacho Carbonell. Whilst on this internship Hannah developed a passion for functional art work and began combining ideas from her knowledge of art and philosophy with design to create biomorphic sculptures that often resemble mystical creatures.
