This is an antique standard lamp of Black Forest taste. A Continental, oak lounge or bedpost light, dating to the Edwardian period, circa 1910.
Impressively tall (6'5") with Schwarzwäld, or Black Forest appeal
Displaying a desirable aged patina and in good order - supplied with tasteful modern lamp shade
Oak stand in four sections, presenting deep caramel hues beneath the wax polish finish
Carved decorations abound, with an eye-catching foliate garland cascading downwards
Central bulb issuing flower head motif stands above a tapering baluster support
