Early 20th Century French Louis XV Verdigris and Gilt Wrought Iron Floor Lamp
About the Item
This elegant, antique floor lamp was forged in France, circa 1930. The lamp sits on three double scroll legs over a bottom central finial; it features intricate motifs with decorative metal acanthus leaves all along the tall stem. The ornate piece with new wiring is dressed with a real decorative candle over a bobeche under the single light. It is further dressed with a "on and off" foot switch for convenience. The heavy wrought iron fixture is in excellent condition, and adorns the original patinated verdigris paint finish with gilt accents throughout. For the ultimate country French look, place this Louis XV style floor lamp in a den, study or library next to a chair or sofa. Shade not included.
