French Art Deco Wrought Iron Floor Lamp Attributed to Gilbert Poillerat, 1940s
About the Item
A very fine, intricately detailed floor lamp attributed to French designer Gilbert Poillerat from the design period 1920 to 1949. This beautiful piece is reminiscent of the Art Deco/Hollywood Regency lamps seen in great films of the era. Handcrafted with an eye to detail.
Photographs without the original shade provided upon request. New shade can be sourced.
Very good condition and in working order. Patina consistent with age and use. Completely restored, surface has been polished and refinished. Rewired with new electrical components, metal cleaned and waxed to conserve the patina. Easily converts to electrical standard of select destination.
