Neoclassical style gilt and silvered iron 19th Century floor lamps

About the Item

Neoclassical style gilt and silvered iron 19th Century floor lamps French, 19th Century Height 195cm, diameter 46cm The monumental floor lamps in this are set on silvered iron circular bases with three additional supports, decorated with scrolled acanthus leaf motifs. This leads to a waisted gilt mount with further acanthus leaves and fluting, which is topped by three silvered pillars with a triangular shaped mount hung with swags. The lamps are surmounted with gilt vase-form light supports, decorated all around with putti, rams heads, and upper twin handles.
