About the Item

An exquisite and finely detailed true pair of French Turn of the Century Verdigris Bronze Torchière statues. Each attractive statue/floor lamp displays a beautiful maiden dressed in flowing garments supported on a circular base below a square pedestal. The maidens above have one foot resting on the pedestal, while being dressing in period attire with flowing garments cinched at their waist. Each maiden has one hand raised to their face as if shielding their charming expressions from the single Torchières being held above their heads. The wonderfully designed torches showcase reeded bodies and scrolled movements below large scale frost flames which emit a warm glow.
