Belle Epoque Brass and Crystal 6-Light Lantern, Turkey, Circa:1910
About the Item
This unique lantern was probably hand made in Turkey prior to World War 1. The fixture is constructed of hand-cast brass with hand-cut lead crystal. The base has 6 indirect lights that can take up to 40 watt bulbs. The columns are stacked components with hand-strung beads in between. The foliate crown with crystal spear is particularly fine. Hanging hardware, ceiling cap, and 1 foot of chain included.
