Lightolier Lytescape Perforated Metal Outdoor Lanterns or Lamps

About the Item

A scarce pair of Lytescape outdoor lamps, often attributed to Gino Sarfratti, manufactured by Lightolier. These vintage lamps feature perforated metal bases with a bright vermillion shade, elevated with brass hardware and finials. The lamps are finished with dramatic tapered metal shades. These charistmatic lamps combine elements from the modernist styles of Gino Sarfratti and Matthieu Mategot with playful Asian-inspired motifs. Lamps retain their original enamel finish, with age-appropriate wear and oxidation seen in the metal. Lamps are created and wired for outdoor use with weather proof cord, but may be rewired to use indoors. Marked with Lightolier manufacturer’s stamp and serial number. 1960s. 16” Height 15” Diameter including the shade
