About the Item
Important Paavo Tynell oversized wall light in copper and Opal glass. Model 2424 for Idman. This model is the biggest of the 2424 model. Patinated copper, painted white inside. Manufacturer stamp. Designed and created in the 40s for outdoor lighting in Finland. The can easily be adapted also for inside where it can be mounted directly to the walls. Paavo Tynell is one of the most famous scandinavian designer alongside Alvar Aalto, who he worked with or Axel Einar Hjorth in Sweden and Hans Agne Jakobsson.
