1970s Brutalist Brass Gold Table Lamp by Belgo Chrom Willy Rizzo style Belgium
About the Item
A very elegant, geometric 1970s table lamp manufactured by Belgo Chrom, Belgium, very much in the style of Willy Rizzo. The sculptural base is a combination of polished chromed metal and brushed brass finish, which comes complete with a new black velvet and gold shade. The lamp has two brass pull chains, which are for turning the bulbs on and off independently. Professionally rewired with new antique brown 3-core braided flex.
Belgo Chrom was a company founded by the family De Wulf. First located in Gavere, later around 1984 it moved to Deinze near Ghent in Belgium. Their range consisted of complete dining rooms, a wide variety of display cases and dressers, and all manner of sculptural accessories from lamps to mirrors, made from polished, brushed and etched brass square tubes.
Measurements: 71cm H x 30cm W x 30cm D. The base is 14cm square.
