About the Item
This is a rare find of an extremely large pottery lamp. The incised Mayan-theme etching of this monumental piece makes it a standout. It is precise and elegant, but most of all it is vintage, but still new.
This lamp has never been used and is part of a collection of Casual Lamps of California we obtained at auction last year.
The pottery has an earthen terracotta tone with a beautiful glaze. The lamp is stamped Casual Lamps of California, 1997 at the base. The condition is near mint, and you will not see this piece with its Mayan god motif again.
