About the Item
Rare very large table lamp designed by Nils Kähler and made by Herman A. Kähler´s ceramic workshop in Denmark ca 1960s. The beige glaze is slightly greenish and very vivid with darker elements.
Included is a new lampshade designed and made in Denmark. It is made of woven fabric with some texture and is off white. It has a top cover so it will spread a cozy light downwards.
Nils Kähler (1906-1979) was fourth generation of the family Kähler. He and his brother Herman Jørgen Kähler, who were in charge of Kähler´s ceramic workshop from 1940, brought the artistic expressions of the ceramic production into the Mid-century period.
Handsigned with "HAK" (for Herman August Kähler workshop) and stamped “Denmark". It wears the original paper sticker from the Kähler workshop.

Lightbulb: For type E26/E27 Edison screw-fitting.
The lamp is made for Scandinavian outlet. If you use other plugs in your country you can either use an adapter or exchange it with a plug used in your country.
