"Mush" Lamp Fibreglass Shade and Polished Stainless Steel Frame
About the Item
This lamp is one of a two-piece-set. The "mush" lamps are unique pieces made of organic resins and fibreglass shades that diffuse light and create intimate atmospheres. Every piece has its own hand-made imperfections and variations. The structure behind the shades is constructed in high quality polished stainless steel. All of our production is by craftsmen located in Europe.
Our design is aiming to bring a playful design piece that feels very much like a living member of the household. Kilzi is a project centred in producing life-long products with a soul. The organic shapes that build or "mush" lamps are presented as pictures of a potentially ever changing organism from which two versions are presented: a tall one and chubby one (a shorter version released in autumn 2022). Upon commission the finishes of the shades could be chosen between "bone" and "paper" but also adjusted to your project/space.

Jorge Suárez-Kilzi is an architect with a wide international experience in Switzerland, Spain, Korea, Sweden and Japan. Worked for Architectes Kazuyo Sejima, Ryue Nishizawa and Junya Ishigami at their Tokyo offices. After several years of freelancing as a creative support to other architecture offices, has launched this solo project centred in creating playful and timeless designs that breath elegance and sobriety. Our first produced items were three porcelain jugs and two fibreglass and steel lamps. We expect the family to grow extensively and are open to any requests and preorders on our ongoing designs.
